Desperada The Exhibition

In February 2025, I showcased my photography in my first art exhibition at Keller Gallery, titled Desperada. This exhibition inspired my current brand and solidified my love for Western art. Desperada was both a personal milestone and an artistic reckoning. It marked the culmination of years of creative exploration across mediums, while also serving as a beginning. Though grounded in nostalgia for the American West, this body of work looked forward, reimagining the cowboy through different lenses. The women in Desperada are outlaws in their own right, each one carrying a unique story and helping me write my own love letter to the land, the women who shaped me, and the power of reinventing the familiar. My hope is that the images left viewers asking who gets to be seen and what it means to wear both grit and grace. Above all, this work was an act of love for my family, my heritage, the cowboy in all of us, and the version of myself that never stopped creating.

God bless America and long live the cowboy.
